2. Nature of the Platform

Talks4You is a browser-based technical platform that provides appointment booking and online communication infrastructure for independent service providers.

Service providers may use the Platform to create their own booking interface, define appointment availability, receive bookings, and communicate with their clients using browser-based tools.

The booking interface is intended to be shared by the service provider with their own clients. Talks4You does not promote, advertise, or distribute service providers to clients and does not operate as a marketplace for finding service providers.

Talks4You operates solely as a technical service provider and infrastructure provider. Service providers are fully responsible for their services, pricing, legal compliance, content, and interactions with their clients.

3. Eligibility and registration

• The Platform may only be used by persons aged 18 or older.
• Only service providers may register for a provider account on the Platform.
• Clients may use booking or communication features through the provider’s interface without creating a platform account where permitted by the workflow.
• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information where required.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials and authentication methods.
• If login verification or two-factor authentication is used, the user is responsible for protecting their authentication devices and codes.

4. Booking and payment

• Service providers determine their own appointment availability, prices, and service conditions.
• Clients see the time slots and prices set by service providers.
• Bookings are made with advance online payment where required.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers.
• The payment is charged at the time of booking and transferred directly to the service provider.
• Talks4You may charge a platform commission on successful bookings.
• Clients may modify the booked appointment themselves through the booking interface.
• Appointment modifications are possible up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
• Appointment cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
• Refunds and cancellation handling are the responsibility of the service provider.

5. Browser-based communication and technical conditions

The Platform operates primarily through web browsers and generally does not require installation of separate applications.

The functionality of the Platform may depend on browser compatibility, internet connection quality, device configuration, camera and microphone permissions, and third-party infrastructure.

For security and operational reasons, a communication session may be limited to one active device per participant.

Talks4You does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation of the Platform.

6. File transfer and external integrations

Service providers may optionally enable file transfer functionality that allows clients to upload files for the provider.

If Google Drive integration is enabled by the service provider, uploaded files may be transferred directly to the service provider’s Google Drive account.

If Google Calendar synchronization is enabled, booking-related events may be created or synchronized with the service provider’s Google Calendar.

Google account login may also be available as an authentication option.

All integrations are optional and controlled entirely by the service provider through their administrative interface.

7. Data handling principles

Talks4You is designed to minimize storage of user content. The Platform does not store or archive video streams, audio streams, chat messages, or documents exchanged between participants unless technically required for the operation of the service.

Files uploaded through integrations such as Google Drive are transferred directly to the service provider’s storage environment.

8. Prohibited activities

• Using the Platform in violation of applicable laws.
• Uploading malicious software or attempting unauthorized access to the system.
• Manipulating, overloading, or interfering with the technical infrastructure of the Platform.
• Impersonating another person or entity.
• Using the Platform for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

9. Limitation of liability

Talks4You is not responsible for disputes, communication issues, or contractual relationships between service providers and their clients.

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Talks4You shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, or loss of data resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.

10. Account suspension or termination

Talks4You reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate user accounts if these Terms of Use or applicable laws are violated, or if the operation or security of the Platform is endangered.

11. Changes to the Terms

Talks4You reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. The most recent version will always be available on the Platform with the updated effective date.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by Hungarian law and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts.
