2. Nature of the service

Talks4You is an online marketplace-based appointment booking and video chat platform. The Platform allows service providers to offer online consultation slots, while clients can book these appointments in advance with online payment and use them at the scheduled time via browser-based video chat.

Talks4You operates solely as an intermediary and is not the provider of the services. It does not assume responsibility for the content or quality of services provided by service providers.

3. Registration and eligibility

• The Platform may only be used by persons aged 18 or older.
• Only service providers may register on the Platform; each provider receives their own unique booking interface.
• The User is required to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• The User bears full responsibility for the use and security of their account.

4. Booking and payment

• Clients see the time slots and prices set by service providers.
• Bookings are made exclusively with advance online payment.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe, PayPal).
• The amount is charged at the time of booking and transferred directly to the service provider.
• Talks4You charges a commission on successful bookings.
• The User may modify the booked appointment independently.
• Cancellation of a booking and any potential refund is solely at the discretion of the service provider.
• Appointment changes are possible up to 24 hours before the start.
• Appointment cancellations are possible up to 48 hours before the start.

5. Video chat and technical conditions

The video chat service is fully browser-based and does not require application installation. Talks4You does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, as it may depend on internet connectivity, user devices, and third-party infrastructure.

Only one client device and one service provider device may be connected to a room at the same time.

6. Prohibited activities

• Activities that violate laws or the rights of third parties.
• Violent, threatening, harassing, or otherwise unlawful content.
• Provision of sexual, erotic, or adult-oriented services.
• Any prohibited content involving minors.
• Circumventing, manipulating, or overloading the system.

7. Limitation of liability

Talks4You assumes no responsibility for legal relationships, communication, or disputes between service providers and clients. The Platform is provided “as is”.

Talks4You is not liable for loss of revenue, data loss, or indirect damages.

8. Account suspension and termination

Talks4You reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a User account if these Terms or applicable laws are violated.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, in accordance with applicable European Union regulations. Hungarian courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
